Mushroom Liquid Extracts

Can I use different mushroom extracts at the same time?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to use different mushroom extracts together. In fact, we encourage experimenting with combinations to find what works best for your individual needs and preferences.

Many people find that combining extracts can offer a more balanced or synergistic effect — but as always, listen to your body and adjust as needed.

What benefits am I getting with the mushroom extracts and your other functional mushroom products?

As mushroom farmers our expertise is the cultivation of mushrooms. Lifecykel takes great pride in producing the highest possible quality products. We recommend using https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov as a source of research conducted by varying international research institutes and universities. Be sure to use the specie name for your search. Additionally, for further advice we recommend consulting your doctor. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Are the mushroom extracts equivalent in strength to powders? The ratio is 10:1 on powders, but not the extracts. How does that work?

Powders and mushroom extracts are made using different processes, so their strength and composition aren’t directly comparable.

Powders are made using a 10:1 ratio, meaning 10kg of mushroom material is used to produce 1kg of powder through a spray-drying method.

Mushroom extracts are made using a 1:2 ratio, where 1kg of mushroom material is used to create 2L of extract. These are produced using a double extraction method (both water and alcohol-based), which ensures that both water-soluble and alcohol-soluble compounds are present and bioavailable.

Mushroom extracts offer a full spectrum of beneficial compounds that may work synergistically, while powders tend to concentrate specific isolated compounds.

What is the starch content in your mushroom extracts?

Our mushroom extracts contain less than 1% of starch.

This result tells us that we can separate most of the grain parts (mainly starch) from the mycelium with our patent pending extraction process.

Your label says there is alcohol in your mushroom extracts, how much and why?

Alcohol is used to extract the alcohol soluble compounds to make them bioavailable for the consumer. Without using alcohol in our extracts, you would only have the water-soluble compounds. The alcohol also acts as preservative.

As one serve is 2ml, there is 0.6ml of alcohol in one serve. This is the equivalent of drinking 12ml of a standard 5% alcohol beer or 5.2ml of a standard white wine restaurant glass size (150ml) of 11.5% of alcohol. This is a very small quantity of alcohol with no intoxicating effects. In Australia, one standard drink is equivalent to any drink containing 10 grams of alcohol.

1 serve of liquid extract flavourings is equivalent to 0.6ml alcohol = 0.4g of alcohol = 4% of a standard drink

Are your mushroom extracts suitable for vegetarians and vegan diets?

Yes, our mushroom extracts are vegetarian and vegan, containing no animal-based ingredients.

How should I store mushroom extracts?

Store at room temperature but if you plan to not use them regularly once opened, we recommend refrigerating the bottles to increase longevity.

Can I still fast when using your mushroom extracts?

Our mushroom extracts contain alcohol which are calorie dense. Therefore this will break a fast.

The mushroom extracts doesn’t have a detectable mushroom taste. It is easy to take because of its mild flavour but just wondering about effectiveness?

Our mushroom extracts are 1:2 which means that 1kg of mushroom material is used to make 2L of mushroom extracts.

The mushroom extracts are made using a double extraction method (water and alcohol based). This process ensures that both water soluble compounds and alcohol soluble compounds are present in the end product and bioavailable for the consumer.

We are using both fruiting bodies, primordia and mycelium to ensure that the entire life cycle of the mushrooms full spectrum is in the end product.

Our liquid extract flavourings are purified using pharmaceutical grade equipment which results in a clear purified colour. This differs from other companies extracts, which are made without purification steps, resulting in a more pigmented extract flavouring with a strong pungent flavour that is not palatable.

Our extract flavourings are made from 70% of purified water extract and 30% of alcohol extract combined together.

Why do you use Kakadu Plum in your mushroom extracts?

The native Australian Kakadu Plum infused within the mushrooms brings a sweet taste to the mushroom extracts while enhancing the effect of the mushrooms.

Do you have a recommended schedule for when to take the mushroom extracts?

AM: Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga and Turkey Tail - add to coffee, tea or water.

PM: Reishi and Lion's Mane - add to evening tea or water.

Shiitake is perfect to have at any time of the day.

Be sure to try out for yourself to find what works best for you.

Are your liquid extract flavourings made from pure mycelium or it is made from mycelium on grain or liquid culture?

Our liquid extract flavourings is made from a combination of fruiting bodies and mycelium. Our liquid extracts flavourings contain less than 1% of starch. This result proves that we can currently separate more than 99% of the grain parts (mainly starch) from the mycelium with our proprietary extraction process that has been lodged with the patent office.

My dropper doesn't have 'ml' marked on it, how many ml's are in a dropper?

Half a dropper full is approximately 1ml, you can use this as a guide for the recommended serving size (2ml)

What percentage of Kakadu Plum is in your liquid extract flavourings?

Our extraction processes and formulas are part of our company's IP, which is within our patents lodged.

Each sale contributes to their respective communities.

Shilajit Pure Resin

What is Shilajit?

Shilajit is a powerful, mineral-rich substance naturally formed in rock crevices of remote mountain ranges around the world. After it's carefully collected, it goes through a purification process in our US facilities, resulting in high-quality flavouring. Often referred to as "The Destroyer of Weakness," Shilajit is a nutrient-dense compound packed with fulvic and humic acids, vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants. It’s known for its rejuvenating properties, it helps ignite vitality, strengthen resilience, and sharpen the mind.

How do I use Shilajit & when is the best time to take it?

Use the provided spoon to scoop out 0.25g of flavouring. Hang the spoon on the edge of your cup and let the flavouring dissolve into your warm water, coffee, or tea.

For the best experience, take Shilajit in the morning, as a pre-workout, or whenever you need an added boost.

We recommend a weekly cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off.

Can I combine Shilajit with the mushroom extracts?

We recommend taking Shilajit on an empty stomach in the morning for optimal absorption.

You can combine Shilajit with our mushroom extract flavourings without any issues, though it may slightly affect the absorption rate.

For best results, space out the intake of Shilajit and other supplements to ensure maximum benefits from both.

How should I store Shilajit?

To maintain freshness and prevent spills, ensure the lid is closed after each use and keep the rims of the jar clean. Store the jar upright in a cool, dark place or refrigerate after opening to avoid dripping.

Why is my Shilajit flavoring harder/softer than usual?

If your Shilajit flavoring feels harder than usual, simply add 1/2 teaspoon of water to soften it. On the other hand, if the consistency is too soft, store it in the fridge to firm it up. Both changes in texture are normal and may occur due to temperature variations, but these adjustments will bring it back to its ideal consistency.

Can Shilajit be taken by children, pregnant women, or nursing mothers?

Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 18, or individuals with known medical conditions should consult a physician or naturopath before using our products.

We prioritise safety and well-being, and we appreciate your understanding. If you have any concerns or need further guidance, please feel free to contact our customer support team.
